Always Here Home Care, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified On-Call Weekend Manager to join our team. The On-Call Weekend Manager provides support to the clients in our care, their families and representatives, and our field staff (caregivers) who provide non-medical home care to aging adults and adults with disabilities.
The incumbent will be responsible for handling scheduling issues which arise outside of normal business hours. This individual must be available for weekend (Friday 5:30 PM until Monday 8 AM) on-call supervision, answering all calls, and overseeing client schedule management to provide the highest quality service to our clients who receive both personal care and companionship care services.

Available Hours: You shall be available to perform your on-call Duties during the following periods:
Beginning at 5:30 PM on each Friday and ending at 8:00 AM each Monday; and
Beginning at 10 am on each Monday and Friday for a duration of two hours for an in-office staff meeting.
Responsibilities will include, but are not be limited to:
Working closely with the Scheduler & Care Manager
Exclusively use the password-protected smart phone provided by Always Here for remote on-call communication. Additional on-call duties may be completed on a password-protected computer.
Track actual time worked and record all calls, actions taken, and time spent in the “Log Sheet” provided by Always Here.
Report to the office on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 AM to 12 PM to review shift notes and respond to caregiver and client updates.
Participate in an office meeting at the beginning and conclusion of each on-call Weekend to be informed of and alert Always Here staff to relevant/ongoing action items or incidents.
Respond to all calls and alerts received after-hours on the on-call phone over the course of the weekend.
Schedule/fill shifts as necessary in the event of a client schedule change request, caregiver no-show/call-out/emergency, or similar event, to ensure continuity of care for each Always Here client.
Notify all appropriate parties of any schedule changes.
Immediately notify the President or Director of Care in the event of a client/caregiver emergency, a client’s passing, or other similar circumstance.
Check email periodically throughout the Weekend to ensure no communication is dropped and to stay abreast of shift notes submitted by caregivers.
On rare occasion fill in on assignments that come open until a replacement caregiver is found (additional compensation provided).
PAY RATE: $300/week
Candidate needs to have excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
CNA/HHA experience preferred. Also ideal for retired nurses looking for part-time work.
